We were delighted to support the children of W11 Opera and we would like to congratulate them on their wonderful performances.
W11 Opera commissions an opera each year with a cast of 70-80 young people aged 9-18. At the core of W11 Opera are the values of excellence and inclusion. The most significant achievement of the opera over its 47-year history has been its ability to involve the widest possible range of participants in terms of age, background and experience while staging professional, highly acclaimed productions.

W11 Opera for Young People restages SHADOWTRACKS, an original opera by Julian Grant and Christina Jones at POSK Theatre, Hammersmith on 8 & 9 December 2018. This acclaimed composer and librettist have collaborated extensively, creating works for both young people and adults alike. W11 Opera will once again bring this piece to life with a cast of nearly 70 young people this year.
