Mouthguards

There’s hardly anything better than a happy, healthy, and active child. Custom mouthguards can help children play the sport of their choice with the risk of dental trauma significantly reduced. Our in-house laboratory will offer you a perfect, custom-design fit for your kid even if they’re wearing braces.

When and why are mouthguards needed?

Custom mouthguards for sports

Dental trauma is common for children – they play and run happily even if no particular sport is involved. And while it’s perhaps a step too far to ask children to wear mouthguards during playtime, these should not be avoided when your kid is practicing a sport. Contact and ball sports can be particularly risky; a custom-made mouthguard can greatly decrease the possibility or at least the severity of the dental trauma.

Mouthguards for orthodontic treatment

Undergoing orthodontic treatment is time-consuming and certainly not something your child would like to prolong unnecessary. A custom-made mouthguard can be the exact thing that prevents this from happening. Fitting perfectly around the teeth and the braces, mouthguards can protect the soft tissue around the mouth during sports or other activities, keeping the brackets and wires safe and uninterruptive.
