Dr Wong regularly visits schools to deliver fun and educational talks to children on the importance of dental care and how to take excellent care of your teeth. The talks are for children of all ages from nursery to secondary schools, with the subject tailored for the age group and curriculum topics. If you would like Dr Wong to come to your school, please contact us to arrange.
Dr Wong and staff from the practice have recently visited the following schools and nurseries:
Dr Wong’s visit to City of London School for Girls
“Thank you so much for your talk this morning! The girls absolutely loved it and are thrilled to bits with their goody bags.”Charlotte Luddington, Form Teacher
The children sent her this audio message. Hear it below:
“Please pass on our gratitude to Dr Wong. The girls loved her talk and were so pleased with their goody bags. They all came rushing in to say that they had used their timer to brush their teeth for two minutes the next day!”Staff at Glendower Preparatory School
“On behalf of the school and the girls in Year 2, I would like to say a very big thank you for coming into school today and delivering your presentation. I know from the class teachers that the girls loved your talk and were thrilled to come away with presents! We very much hope that you can come back and visit us again next year. Once again thank you for helping to set the girls on the road to healthy teeth!”Dominic Tucker, Head of Lower School
“Her talk and presentation were most appropriate for our age group, the children were able to learn, take part, respond and make choices between healthy food and food that is unhealthy and damages teeth. They all loved their little gift bag and were very excited to receive a toothbrush and timer!”
“The children were full of excitement about her visit this morning and had obviously thoroughly enjoyed it.”Headmistress
Dr Wong backed up her presentation with practical and audiovisual reinforcement so the children can learn the importance of good toothbrushing and eating healthy snacks.
Thank you so much for today! The children got so much out of your talks and like you said, the child in the first group displayed a high level of learning in being able to identify that chocolate was nice, but bad for his teeth. Everything you said greatly reinforced the learning in our life skills group this term and it was fantastic, so thank you so much for taking the time to come and see us, it was really kind of you.Lucy Allen, Occupational Therapist
We really feel that many children in our school would greatly benefit from your approach, as so many have great difficulty with brushing and going to the dentist and doctor. Thank you again!
