Wisdom Teeth Treatments for Adults

What treatments are suitable?

Although many believe that wisdom teeth should be extracted, this doesn’t need to happen unless absolutely necessary.

When wisdom teeth erupt and there’s sufficient space for them, they can be just as perfect as all the rest. In some instances, where patients lose another molar, wisdom teeth can be brought forward to fill in the gap using orthodontic techniques.

  • Hygiene
Wisdom teeth are harder to reach and plaque is more likely to build up. Regular dental hygiene can help prevent periodontal disease.
  • Filling
Caries on the wisdom teeth can and should be treated just as on any other tooth.
  • Onlay or Crown
If a wisdom tooth has developed a larger caries or is in need of a crown, our laboratory can provide a solution.
