This fabulous evening sparked many interesting and informative discussions. All attendees said they thoroughly enjoyed learning from our expert partners SkinCeuticals, Matt Roberts Personal Training, Nutritionist Kim Pearson, and of course, Moira Wong Orthodontics.

Surprising all guests, Dr Wong gave fantastic insights into how specialist orthodontics not only can help with facial shaping as we age but can also support your anti-ageing beauty treatments.

Through her lecture, Dr Wong explained that orthodontics is very beneficial for people who are bothered by their nasolabial folds and we can get rid of them without any surgery. Also called smile folds, they are the two skin folds that run from each side of the nose to the corners of the mouth.

With ageing, the folds may become more pronounced and in some cases, they can be quite deep and even cause discomfort. When the front teeth are aligned orthodontically, we aim to increase upper lip support and this, in turn, removes the nasolabial fold that appears as we age, helping to turn back the clock.

Dr Wong then led a Q&A session with many questions and feedback from attendees expressing their surprise that they could get rid of the folds organically.
