Human bone regeneration and wildlife conservation come together

We have finally caught up with the regeneration abilities of lizards! Bone regeneration for dental implants is the latest technology that is transforming people’s lives. We can now regrow bone that has been lost or damaged, enabling people to have the dental implants that they need. Regeneration is something that many species have mastered already.

Here at Moira Wong Orthodontics, we recently held an evening for central and west London dentists with special guests, bone regeneration expert Dr Isabella Rocchietta and wildlife adventurer Safari Pete with his four-, six-, eight- and no-legged friends. Dr Rocchietta gave a lecture on this ground-breaking bone regeneration technique, offered in a fully integrated service with Moira Wong Orthodontics. Dr Rocchietta is one of only a handful of experts worldwide who has the expertise to regrow bone.

Safari Pete followed with a meet and greet with his fascinating friends, who all behaved brilliantly, including the poisonous scorpion crawling on the leg of a brave volunteer, Dr Phil Marsden. It was a night to remember!
