Last week, two young patients from Notting Hill, Nellie (age 5) and Finn (age 8) visited our practice for the first time.
We gave them a thorough check-up and general exam of their teeth. The kids had sealants put on to protect their molars. Dr Colomar gave a practical and fun talk to them to demonstrate how to brush their teeth with maximum effect, showing how to be more focused on the different surfaces of their teeth when brushing.
Nellie and Finn’s dad said: “Each child’s visit lasted more than 45 minutes, compared to literally 5-10 minutes on the NHS. I was really, really impressed with it, and of course, the facility here.”
“Dr Colomar even showed them how to brush their teeth and was so thorough in doing so. My little daughter Nellie often gets distracted easily but wow…I was amazed at how she paid so much attention to Dr Colomar’s demonstration of tooth brushing,” said the father of two.
The children loved their visit so much that they can’t wait to go back again; we also promised Finn that he could come back anytime to finish the racing game at the play area that we’ve designed for our young patients.
