Dr Wong visits Pembridge Hall School in Notting Hill

On Friday, 22nd September 2017, Dr Wong visited the Year 2 children at Pembridge Hall in Notting Hill to chat about how to look after our teeth and also to compare “healthy” and “unhealthy” snacks.

Dr Wong also shared the Sugar Smart App, which gave us some surprising information about the sugar content of various foods. The most shocking was Tomato Ketchup. Use the sugar smart app and e-mail us to tell us how many cubes of sugar are in a squirty bottle of ketchup! Click here to use the Sugar Smart App

After a visit from Dr Wong, Miss Cairney, a Year 1 Teacher from Pembridge Hall School, sent beautiful flowers along with a thank you note to Moira Wong Orthodontics. Miss Cairney also had this to say:

We are delighted that Dr Wong could visit our school.

After speaking to the girls, it is evident that they took away lots of information from the presentation! Thank you for the goody bags – the children are enthused with a new love of brushing their teeth using their new timer and toothbrush!

I will be sharing the sugar smart app with the parents of Pembridge Hall in our newsletter – I think it will be an eye-opener for many. It definitely was for me!
