A wonderful event for local dentists with music, drinks and magic!

Last week we hosted a wonderful evening with local dentists who joined us for Dr Moira Wong’s CPD talk. There was great music, drinks, magic, laughing and learning.

Dr Moira Wong always wanted to organise a fun and informative event for dentists based in Central London, including Harley Street and Kensington and Chelsea, to get to know them better and create a friendly and supportive professional network.

There was no better time than a Friday evening in mid-November. We spent almost two months planning and organising the event to make sure all dentists would immediately feel welcome the minute they walked into our practice.

We asked the lovely owner of Portobello Ristorante & Pizzeria to prepare a delicious Italian spread for our guests. Moira delivered a talk that counts towards the dentists’ CPD: Multidisciplinary management of complex adults. It was an opportunity for us to showcase our practice’s achievements over the years.

So many dentists told us how wonderful the party was and how much they enjoyed it. We were honoured to have Rev’d Canon Dr Father William Taylor join us and to bless the practice.

To keep the event fun and enjoyable, Moira Wong invited a magician, who surprised the guests with his talents. A string trio from the Royal College of Music delighted us with their beautiful music. Many dentists told us that this type of event which counts for CPD is unusual and they were very impressed with it. We were pleased with the feedback and will certainly host more in the future!

Here Dr Anil Shrestha speaks about Dr Wong and the practice.
